Versatile Elwood Wyco flexible shaft machines are offered for the various needs in foundries, steel welding shops, sheet metal fabricators, maintenance departments, forging plants, tire shops, and many others. Typical applications include: wood or metal finishing, rust or paint removal, auto body sanding, tire buffing, etc.
Many types of accessories are used with these machines, including edge-type grinding wheels, wire brushes, sanding discs, depressed center wheels, tire rasps and sanding drums.
STANDARD FEATURES
- New aluminum caster four-legged base provides improved stability.
- Patented “Quick Change” Handpieces snap on or off quickly and easily.
- Handy Hanger for extra handpieces eliminates the need for messy tool trays.
- Elwood Wyco flexible shafts are covered with neoprene rubber. All shafts have a low-friction inner lining which protects the core and makes the unit run smoother and last longer.
- Motors are: capacitor start, constant speed; 115/230 volt; single phase; 60-cycle AC with toggle switch; and 7 foot, 3-wire cord and safety plug.
- Motor base swivels on ball bearings and is mounted on a large, four legged stand with easy rolling coasters.
