Rigid Wave Guides

The control unit of a rigid wave guide is mounted immediately outside a material bin and only the wave guides are brought through the bin wall.

Any opaque material can be detected, including grains, coffee and injection molding pellets. The switch operates when material rises and fills in between the two probes. It reverses when the material falls below the probes.

  • The rigid probes are both mounted to a single, self-contained unit, so no manual alignment is necessary during installation.
