Automatic Spraying

Spraying the right amount on each part at the right time without interrupting the smooth flow of parts on a conveyor can be done automatically with a photoelectric timing control. The powerful light beam operates dependably even though the air may at times be filled with spray particles.

Parts are carried on the hooks of a trolley conveyor. As a part passes through the beam, the control ''remembers'' its length until the part enters the spray nozzles. The control then turns on the spray for the correct amount of time and avoids wasted spray material.

The control can ''remember'' many different lengths at the same time.

The remote heads are explosion-proof as is often required.
