High Speed Small Objects

Small objects can be counted at high speed with proximity (diffused reflection) scanners.

Proximity scanners can count small objects (e.g., cigarette packages) that reflect light as the move along a dark conveyor belt. The scanner is mounted close to the packages for fast reliable operation using only the reflection from the package.

The sensitivity of a proximity scanner operated photoelectric control makes it possible to count almost any object -- no matter what its surface characteristics may be.
