Wide Cloth
An air operated tilting bar can be used to control the position of
cloth going from a table into a sponge machine.
Retro-reflective scanners are positioned above one edge of the
cloth, with the corresponding reflectors positioned on the table
below them.
If the cloth interrupts the outside light beam, the control
signals an air mechanism to tilt the adjusting rod up at this end of
the cloth.
If the cloth lets the inside light beam strike the reflector, the
control bar is tilted up at the opposite end to correct the
alignment.
