Stack To Size
Uniform pallet loads can be achieve automatically with a
photoelectric control using only a single light beam and a
retro-reflector mounted on opposite sides of the pallet load.
For example, corrugated paper sheets can be stacked on a pallet
loader by a conveyor. When the stack reaches a certain height, the
light beam is interrupted by the stack.
When the interruption of the light beam is maintained beyond the
time delay period, the photoelectric control relay drops out and
immediately stops the conveyor. The time delay is necessary to
prevent the relay from dropping out as single sheets are deposited on
the stack.
