Fixed Ejection Path
As parts are ejected, they travel though a set path on their way
to the next processing station. A light beam is directed across this
path.
A properly ejected stamping breaks the light beam, which
triggers the relay for the next stamping. Each properly ejected
stamping recycles the time delay before the timing period expires.
If, due to improper ejection, the timing period expires before a
stamping breaks the beam, the relay drops out and stops the press.
The system assures continued, safe operation of the press with no
supervision.
