Fallen Bottle
After the bottle capping operation is completed, bottles sometimes
fall over on the conveyor. This will eventually interfere with the
packing operation, and the conveyor must be stopped.
Two retro-reflective scanners may be mounted on the side of the
conveyor, one above the other. The beams are parallel to belt and
stretch across it. The photoelectric control stops the conveyor when
the lower light beam is broken and the other light beam is not
broken.
Each upright bottle breaks both light beams simultaneously, and
each space between upright bottles restores both light beams. When a
fallen bottle interrupts only the lower light beam, the photoelectric
control operates to stop the conveyor immediately.
