Tunnel Conveyor

When a processing or conveying operation in a limited or no-access area requires constant monitoring, photoelectric controls are the most reliable method for alerting operators of potential trouble when an unnoticed failure could cause costly disruption of production or damage to equipment.

For example, a light source and sensor may be mounted at opposite ends of a tunnel conveyor. The light source projects a beam along the bottom of the units (say, for example, refrigerators) as the move along the conveyor. If a refrigerator drops or falls, ti breaks the light beam and latches the control off, stopping the conveyor instantly and sounding an alarm.

Thus, further damage to parts and equipment is prevented by instant detection.
