Metal Parts Though Chute
Metal proximity controls can be used to count metal parts even
though parts are not moving on a conveyor surface. Because of their
sensitivity and accuracy, proximity controls can be used to count
metal parts as the fall though a non-metallic chute.
Detection and counting occurs when metal parts pass anywhere
through the loop proximity sensor installed in the v-neck of the
chute.
The sensor is impervious to dirt, grease, gases, dust, corrosion,
moisture and vibration.
As long as the rate at which parts fall through the cute can be
adjusted to allow minimum time for the senor to detect each part, the
proximity control will provide a dependable counting operation.
