Parallel Logic Dc

Several DC logic output controls can be wired together for AND or OR logic.

The common shield of all units are connected to each other and to the negative power supply. The positive supply is connected to the positive side of all control units and one side of the load. The other side of the load is connected to the negative output of all units.

1. AND logic: Set phase switches to DARK position. Load switches off when all light beams see target.
2. OR logic: Set phase switches to LIGHT position. Relay switches on when any light beam sees target.

Notes

• An external diode must be connected across inductive loads such as relay coils.
